Last days in Germany

Tomorrow they pack up the computer. Sunday we fly. An amazing amount of our lives has been spent here. So much has happened in 4 1/2 years. I am sad to leave, but ready too. We will miss our Thursday nights at the Hammer,

and we, especially the kids, will miss "Oma Hammer." I wish we could take them with us!

We spent our last weekend in Germany at the resort in Garmisch. It was beautiful, and we went on a tour of the Partnach Gorge. The waterfalls were frozen, and it was an amazing sight! I will miss things like that about Europe, but I am ready to remember what it is like to be an American. . .

I always thought, the Partnach Klamm, is closed during the winter months.

We're enjoying our final days in Germany now. I have something for you from Frau Hammer that S. apparently asked her for when he was here before. Shoot me an email and I'll get it to you! By the way...I truly enjoyed our last visit to the Hammer with you guys right before you left!
