Easter

I am still trying to get into the swing of the routine here. . .that's why it keeps taking so long to get stuff on here. Anyway--here are some photos from Easter. My Dad and C. came to visit and it was a lot of fun. We went to church, had some friends over for lunch (they are from Texas and just moved here right after we did--they have boys the same age as N. and R. and two girls--one of them babysits! Plus, the mom (L.) is really fun--they are a total blessing from God for us! I was so lonely until they got here!

After lunch, we went to the beach about 10 miles from our house. The water was cold, so I figured that the kids would just stick their feet in and that would be it! No such luck! They got totally soaked--ran all the way out into the water and ended up coming home dressed just in jackets! It was a lot of fun (and very dirty!) I know that this picture is far away but I just think it is so sweet. I always want to have lots of pictures of the kids with their grandparents at all different ages.

J. was not thrilled with the way the sand felt on his feet. He also kept trying to sabotage another family's castle!R.--in his typical style--had a good time, but knew where his personal comfort zone was. Didn't get too deep, and when he got cold, had no problem saying "We're done. Let's go home now."
