In the last few weeks, several of my nearest and dearest have had new babies. Although they have blogs, they are most likely too tired to write on them right now. However, I think that if I were in their shoes, I would once in a while be reading other blogs, just as a distraction. I also remember that in the early stages of new babyhood, I often felt lonely and that everyone had forgotten me. I HOPE that none of you are feeling that way, but just in case you are (and you are actually reading my blog) I wanted to take a moment to say "HELLO! You are beautiful and so is your baby (or babies, B!) and you are doing a great job! Your baby loves you and everyone else loves you.
Please be sure that you accept help from anyone who offers. They genuinely want to help you, and it doesn't mean that you aren't doing your job if you feed the baby and then let someone else burp them while you go get an extra hour's sleep! I love you guys! (And--I am posting your pictures here without your permission, but I have made sure that they are low resolution so no one can copy them and make millions of dollars off of ads featuring your baby (Although they are definitely beautiful enough to be models!!)

Thanks A! I have been feeling a bit on the lonely side. All I do is feed and change two babies while my other 3 demand time that I don't have to give. And your comments on accepting help (which I don't do well at all) is so fitting. I just finally accepted help from some wonderful ladies at church who came and cleaned my house yesterday - even changed sheets on all the beds! I also had a major breakthrough - I called one of them before she came over and asked her to bring me Starbucks. Funny part is how long it took me to decide to call her! God is teaching me a lot through this c-section. I certainly wish I hadn't been so hard headed that it took an 8 in gash to my stomach to learn some lessons! I miss you!
